GOD's Amazing CHRISTmas GIFT of GRACE!

WHAT is "AMAZING"? THAT which is Mind-Blowing; THAT which BOGGLES man's FINITE mindset; THAT which is SOOO out of THIS world's ideologies and philosophies that it's INconceivable, INcomprehensible, INexpressible to the spiritually DEAD, the idolatrous IGNORAMUS, the wretched BLIND and LOST soul! (see 1 Corinthians 2:12-16)

WHAT is TRULY, ACTUALLY, REALLY amazing? The GRACE of GOD -- His NEW Covenant of GRACE; His UNmerited Favor and UNdeserved Mercy towards UNdeserving, UNgodly, UNrighteous SIN-natured, SIN-doers like you and me, ALL who are deserving ONLY of GOD's JUST Condemnation and RIGHTeous JUDGment INto EVERlasting HELL! (see Ephesians 2:1-9)

WHAT IS GOD's Amazing GRACE? That GOD Himself, full of GRACE and TRUTH, left His Heavenly GLORY and came into this SIN-corrupted earth. That THE INfinite OMNIpotent, OMNIscient, OMNIpresent GOD of Creation was SUPERnaturally INcarnated in a virgin's womb by the miraculous work of GOD The Holy SPIRIT. (see John 1:1-5,14)

THIS.. IS AMAZING GRACE! That THE ALL-Mighty ONE became helpless, THE ALL-Sufficient ONE became dependent, THE INfinite LORD of GLORY became FINITE flesh. That THE CHRIST, THE Anointed SON of GOD, utterly humbled Himself to become THE SON of Man JESUS to fully accomplish the REDEMPTION of sinners like you and me, from SIN, Satan, SELF -- to SAVE us from the actual, very REAL, experiential EVERlasting HELL -- by dying on Calvary's CROSS to pay IN-FULL the required BLOOD-Price for every REPENTANT SOUL. That by GOD's GRACE alone, through FAITH alone, IN CHRIST alone -- the quickened-ALIVE IMmortal SOUL may be SAVED from the EVERlasting HELL that is ETERNAL Separation from GOD; and SO THAT we 2xborn of GOD may enter freely INto GOD's heavenly Kingdom of GLORY! (see Philippians 2:6-11; 1 Peter 3:18; Ephesians 2:8-9)

CHRIST JESUS, Truly GOD and Truly Man, THE GOD-MAN, IS THE SUPERlative GIFT of CHRISTmas -- GOD's ULTIMATE, mind-blowing, mind-boggling, out-of-THIS-world (literally!) IN CHRIST JESUS -- forEVERmore!

'For by GRACE you have been SAVED through FAITH, and this not of yourselves, it is the GIFT of GOD' (Ephesians 2:8). 'Whoever has The SON has LIFE; whoever does not have The SON of GOD does not have LIFE' (1 John 5:12). 'IN CHRIST we have REDEMPTION through His BLOOD, the FORGIVENESS of our trespasses, according to the Riches of His GRACE, which He lavished upon us' (Ephesians 1:7-8a); 'for ALL who are led by The SPIRIT are children of GOD' (Romans 8:12) -- 'NEW creations IN CHRIST' (2 Corinthians 5:17).

'CHRIST REDEEMED us from the curse of the Law by becoming a curse for us—for IT IS WRITTEN, “Cursed is everyone who is hanged on a tree”' (Galatians 3:13). The 2xborn are REDEEMED 'with Precious BLOOD, as of a LAMB UNblemished and spotless, the BLOOD of CHRIST' (1 Peter 1:19). 

Therefore, be 'strong IN The LORD and IN His Mighty POWER' (Eph 6:10), 'doing ALL things THROUGH CHRIST Who gives us strength' (Phil 4:13) -- 'for we LIVE BY FAITH, NOT BY SIGHT' (2 Cor 5:). 'We are MORE than conquerors THROUGH CHRIST Who loved us' (Romans 8:37).

'The Holy SPIRIT Himself testifies with our spirit that we are children of GOD' (Romans 8:16); for 'as many as received Him -- CHRIST JESUS -- to them He gave the right to become children of GOD, even to those who BELIEVE in His Name' (John 1:12); 'so that you will be blameless and innocent, children of GOD without blemish in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation, among whom you SHINE as Lights in the world' (Philippians 2:15). 

'See HOW GREAT a LOVE The FATHER has given to us, that we would be called children of GOD; and we ARE. For this reason the world does not know us, because it did not know Him. NOW we are children of GOD, and it has not been manifested as yet what we will be. We KNOW that when He is manifested, we will be like Him, because we will see Him just AS He IS' (1 John 3:1-2).

For the 2xborn of GOD IN CHRIST JESUS, quickened ALIVE by The Holy SPIRIT -- 'neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor rulers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor ANY other created thing, will be able to separate us from the LOVE of GOD, which is IN CHRIST JESUS our LORD' (Romans 8:38-39).

OVERCOMING the FEAR of DEATH

"ANSWER: Even the most secure, devout Believer can have occasions when he fears DEATH. It is hard-wired into our systems to avoid DEATH. And DEATH was NOT an original part of GOD’s Plan for His Creation. We were made to be whole and holy, living in Paradise in communion with Him. The introduction of DEATH was a necessary response to the admittance of SIN into the world. It is a GRACE that we DIE. If we didn’t, we would have to live in a SINful world for ALL ETERNITY.

"Knowing that in your head doesn’t necessarily counteract the visceral reaction to the thought of your own MORTALITY. The fragility of our physical bodies and the sudden cessation of Life are violent reminders of our LACK OF CONTROL in a large, dangerous world. We do have a GREAT Hope, that HE who is IN us is greater than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). And He did go to prepare a place for us so that we can join Him (John 14:2). But it might help to consider the more immediate, practical considerations we’re faced with.

"Beginning with, WHAT is the actual FEAR? There are several aspects of DEATH that can potentially cause FEAR. Fortunately, GOD has an answer for each of them.

"FEAR of the UNKNOWN -- What exactly does it feel like to DIE? What can you see as your Life leaves your physical body? How will it come about? Is it anything like people have reported—a bright light? A group of relatives? NO ONE KNOWS for certain what it feels like, BUT the Bible does describe WHAT HAPPENS. Second Corinthians 5:6–8 and Philippians 1:23 say that WHEN we leave our body, we are AT HOME WITH The LORD. What a reassuring thought! We will stay in this state until CHRIST comes and RESURRECTS the Believers (1 Corinthians 15:20–22; 6:14) when we will be given a NEW, GLORIFIED body.

"FEAR of LOSS of CONTROL -- By the time humans reach adulthood, they have a pretty good idea how to interact with the world around them. They know how to find what they need, get to where they want to be, and interact with others in a way that fulfills their intent. Many though, even those who profess a trust in GOD, are so fearful of not getting what they need that they feel they have no choice but to manipulate their surroundings and the people around them to their benefit. We have all met men and women who abuse and grasp out of FEAR. They don’t trust GOD to provide for their needs, so they take care of things themselves. They don’t trust others to give them consideration, so they demand what they think they need.

"How much more they must FEAR the LOSS OF CONTROL upon their deaths. As JESUS said to Peter, describing HOW he would DIE, “TRULY, TRULY, I say to you, when you were younger, you used to gird yourself and walk wherever you wished; but when you grow old, you will stretch out your hands and someone else will gird you, and bring you where you do not wish to go” (John 21:18). Before Peter got this warning, he denied JESUS out of FEAR. Directly after the warning, he reacted by demanding to know HOW John was going to DIE. But after JESUS returned to Heaven, Peter took the gift of The Holy SPIRIT and became a NEW person—one whose passion for CHRIST’s message far out-stripped his need to control his surroundings (Acts 5:17–42). The Holy SPIRIT alone gave him the STRENGTH to face WHATever challenges he might face.

"FEAR for THOSE LEFT BEHIND -- The CHRISTian view of DEATH is “SEPARATION.” Ultimate DEATH is separation from GOD. With physical DEATH, we will be separated from our loved ones on Earth for a time. IF they are also CHRISTians, we know that the separation will be a short blink of an eye compared to the ETERNITY we’ll spend with them in Heaven. IF they are not CHRISTians, that will NOT be the case. Our commission, then, becomes to use this time together to talk to them about WHERE they will go WHEN they DIE. Ultimately, however, the DECISION rests with them. Just as GOD gives them the room to CHOOSE, we must also.

"FEAR of the ACT of DYING -- Few of us know HOW we will DIE. Quick and painless, in our sleep, a long, drawn-out illness—the mystery of it, the inability to prepare, can be frightening. If we do know, if we’ve been diagnosed with a terminal illness, it can still be scary.

"BUT IT IS ONLY A MOMENT. A moment nearly everyone has gone through or WILL go through. And, when that moment is over, we can claim Philippians 3:20–21: “BUT our CITIZENSHIP is IN Heaven. And we eagerly await a SAVIOR from there, The LORD JESUS CHRIST, Who, by the POWER that enables Him to bring EVERYthing under HIS control, WILL TRANSFORM our lowly BODIES so that they will be like His GLORIOUS Body.” Often, being informed and actively participating can help assuage FEAR. You can take steps to PREPARE yourself and those around you.

"OVERCOMING the FEAR of DEATH: PRACTICAL STEPS -- Many people believe they shouldn’t die because they have too much to live for. Often, this means they have responsibilities and UNfinished business that wouldn’t be taken care of if they were gone. But having people and things you are responsible for won’t keep you from dying if it’s your time. Doing what you can to make sure they’re seen to can alleviate FEAR.

"If you have a business or children or other dependents, consider their care. Decide who will take over your role and work with that person to come up with a plan. Look into a will or a trust. Make sure all of your necessary paperwork is organized and easy to find. RECONCILE BROKEN RELATIONSHIPS before you’re unable to. But don’t live for dying. There’s a difference between taking reasonable steps and obsessing.

"OVERCOMING the FEAR of DEATH: PHYSICAL STEPS -- If you have strong feelings about what you want to happen to you should you become INcapacitated, express them NOW. It’s entirely possible that during the course of an illness or injury, you’ll LOSE CONTROL over the situation and be UNable to make your wishes known. Get a living will. Let those closest to you know what you want—or at least tell them where it’s written down. Choose someone you trust to be authorized to make decisions for you should you become UNable.

"OVERCOMING the FEAR of DEATH: SPIRITUAL STEPS -- These are all steps to keep up responsibilities or maintain a measure of control in the worldly realm, but they don’t get to the meat of the matter. The MOST IMPORTANT thing to remember regarding DEATH is the TRUTH about Life. You love your family and care for them, but GOD loves them MORE. You may worry about your earthly legacy, but GOD’s more concerned with a KINGDOM PERSPECTIVE. All the paperwork in the world won’t bring the PEACE of mind of one simple action: ABIDE.

"In the middle of living this Life, with these people, in this world, it’s difficult to keep in mind that this is just a TEMPORARY condition, and not a very good one at that. First John 2:15–17 says, “DO NOT LOVE THE WORLD nor the things in the world. IF anyone loves the world, the LOVE of The FATHER is not in him. For ALL that is in the world, the LUST of the Flesh and the LUST of the eyes and the boastful PRIDE of Life, is NOT from The FATHER, but is from the world. The world IS passing away, and also its lusts; but the one who DOES the Will of GOD lives FOREVER.” How we remember this is by ABIDING (1 John 2:24). Staying in the TRUTH of His Word, BELIEVING what HE says about us and the world around us, will give us the proper perspective regarding this Life and the one we will receive.

"When we are able to keep that KINGDOM PERSPECTIVE, we’ll be able to fulfill 1 John 3:1–2: “See how GREAT a LOVE The FATHER has bestowed on us, that we would be called Children of GOD; and such we are. For this reason the world does not know us, because it did not know Him. Beloved, NOW we are Children of GOD, and it has not appeared as yet what we will be. We KNOW that when HE appears, we will be LIKE Him, because we will see Him just AS He is.” It will be SO evident that we do not belong in this world that others will see it, too. (The Apostle Paul wrote his second letter to Timothy with urgency because he understood that his DEATH was near, and His foremost concern remained the preaching of the Gospel. Facing the REALITY of DEATH, Paul recognized that his Life had not been wasted, but was being poured out for GOD. This calm and direct approach to DEATH contrasts greatly with our contemporary culture. CHRIST JESUS Himself declared: "I AM The WAY, The TRUTH and The LIFE. NO one comes to The FATHER except THROUGH Me" (John 14:6). To you -- is He a liar, a lunatic -- or your LORD and Savior?

The GREATEST Lie EVER Told

The SECOND greatest LIE ever told is that there are MANY ways to get into Heaven. But GOD The SON -- CHRIST JESUS Himself -- proclaimed that HE Himself is the ONLY Way to Heaven. HE Himself said: "I AM The (ONLY) WAY (to GOD) and The (REAL) TRUTH and The (REAL) LIFE. NO one comes to The FATHER except THROUGH Me" (John 14:6, AMP). The LORD JESUS Himself is The DOOR, The GATE (see John 10:7,9) -- the ONLY Entrance to Eternal LIFE INto HIS heavenly Kingdom.

ALL other religions have in their teachings Salvation by "good" works. Muhammadans, Buddhists, Roman Catholics, Hindus, Mormons, Sikhs, Jews, Jehovah Witnesses have to do MUCH good works to offset their MUCH bad works from a lifetime of SINs. Man-made religions TRUST in their SELF-effort, in keeping the countless requirements of their religion and traditions, hoping but NEVER knowing if they've done ENOUGH good works to tip that great weighing scale in their favor on the Day of JUDGMENT.

Can ANY person truly, actually DO enough GOD-pleasing good works to offset his/her countless SINs committed during his life (from childhood to adulthood) -- his numerous SINs of UNrighteous, UNgodly THOUGHTS, WORDS, DEEDS? In REALity -- NONE has EVER lived a PERFECT godly and righteous life (see Romans 3:10-18). The GOD-Man CHRIST JESUS Himself is THE one and only exception to this universal FACT. For SIN-natured SIN-doers WILL continue to choose to pile up SIN after SIN after SIN in their Life-101. HOW MUCH good works will ATONE for ALL these SINs? HOW MUCH good is GOOD ENOUGH to gain entrance INto GOD's heavenly Kingdom?

The GREATest LIE EVER told -- and STILL being told TOday -- is this: "I am a GOOD person. Because I am GOOD, I will go to Heaven when I die." The SELF-deceived soul is STILL part of the "Walking DEAD" -- destined to EVERlasting destruction in HELL. The person who BELIEVES in his/her OWN goodness is IGNORANT of Who GOD IS -- His INfinite HOLINESS, Righteous JUSTICE, IMmutable CHARACTER, Sovereign LORDship over ALL Creation (Visible and INvisible).

The UNbelieving sinner is IGNORANT of GOD's utterly HOLY Standard of entrance INto HIS heavenly Kingdom. The SIN-natured SIN-doer is IGNORANT of the depth of his own SINfulness -- of his own SIN-FULL thoughts, SIN-FULL affections, SIN-FULL motives. He indulges in SELF-deception, believing that he has obeyed GOD's Ten Commandments -- believing that his OUTward actions of "goodness" are acceptable in GOD's most HOLY Sight. BUT because GOD sees and thoroughly KNOWs the very HEART and MINDset of EVERY man, that man's "good" works are but FILTHY rags to GOD's utterly PURE Sight (see Isaiah 54:6).

To enter INto GOD's PERFECT Kingdom -- you MUST be 100% PERFECT. To go to Heaven, you MUST be PERFECT in thought, word, action... PERFECT from birth to death... PERFECT in EVERY way, during EVERY second, in EVERY thought, word, act of your ENTIRE lifetime. To gain entrance INto GOD's PERFECT heavenly Paradise -- you also MUST be TRULY, WHOLLY PERFECT in your own holiness (see Leviticus 11:45).

IMPOSSIBLE indeed! BUT with GOD -- ALL things are possible (see Matthew 19:26)! GOD The SON lived INwardly and OUTwardly ALL of GOD The FATHER's HOLY Standard of PERFECTion for LIFE in Heaven. The SON of GOD obeyed ALL of GOD's Requirements for PERFECT Holiness. CHRIST JESUS alone was THE Perfect ONE -- in ALL His thoughts, words, actions. From His incarnation (by earthly birth through the virgin Mary) to His SACRIFICIAL Death on Calvary's CROSS -- He NEVER sinned. The LORD JESUS Himself, Who is The GOD-Man (truly GOD, truly Man), fulfilled ALL that GOD required of Him as The FATHER's Sacrificial LAMB to ATONE, PAY IN FULL, the JUST punishment (for SIN) and JUST penalty (of Death) for ALL sinners who REPENT of their SINs, BELIEVE IN the PERFECT Person and the accomplished Work of The LORD JESUS -- TRUSTing in JESUS' HIStorical DEATH and Burial, RESURRECTION and Ascension back INto The GLORY with GOD The FATHER (see 1 Corinthians 15:3-4).

When you TRUST in JESUS' atoning Death for GOD's forgiveness of ALL your SINs and you TURN from your lifestyle of SIN and turn to GOD The SON as LORD of your NEW life -- the PERFECT Righteousness of The SON of GOD is imputed (legally put on your account) to you, positionally making you wholly RIGHTeous, AS IF you've NEVER EVER sinned! For your SINs were imputed to CHRIST at the Cross of DEATH, where JESUS was punished to Death for your SINs. By your sincere, genuine FAITH IN CHRIST -- your are totally FORGIVEN of ALL your SINs (Acts 2:38), made a NEW creation altogether (2 Corinthians 5:17), ADOPTED into GOD's Eternal FAMILY as His very own child (Ephesians 1:5, Romans 8:15), enABLEd SUPERnaturally by The Holy SPIRIT's INdwelling, to LOVE and OBEY and SERVE as a living sacrifice The ONE TRUE Living GOD (Romans 12:1).

By FAITH alone, IN CHRIST alone -- is THAT which is GOOD ENOUGH to satisfy GOD's Wrath and Condemnation against the SIN-natured SIN-doer who has rebelled against Him by making SELF his own god rather than acknowledging GOD AS GOD --The ONE TRUE Living TRIune Sovereign GOD Who has revealed Himself in The Holy SCRIPTURES.

SO -- for those who are tired of trying to be good enough, who are weary of the burdensome do's and don'ts of man-made religions, who are in need of TRUE REST in heart and REAL PEACE of mind -- receive The LORD JESUS' gracious invitation: "COME to Me... I WILL give you REST. IN Me -- you WILL find REST for your souls" (see Matthew 11:28-30). The Risen LORD JESUS, The MESSIAH sent of GOD The FATHER -- is your ONLY Way to GOD's Heaven, your ONLY REALity of ultimate PERFECTion, your ONLY Life of REAL PEACE with GOD forEVERmore.

For by the Amazing GRACE of GOD alone, through GOD's gift of FAITH alone, IN CHRIST alone are you made perfectly GOOD for the SUPERlative Privilege of living forEVERmore in The GLORY of GOD's Heaven. HalleluYAH!

The 2xborn IN CHRIST -- 'were by nature children under wrath as the others were also. BUT GOD, Who is RICH in Mercy, because of His great LOVE that He had for us, made us ALIVE with The MESSIAH even though we were DEAD in trespasses. You are SAVED by GRACE! Together with CHRIST JESUS He also raised us up and seated us in the Heavens, so that in the coming ages He might display the IMmeasurable riches of His GRACE through His Kindness to us IN CHRIST JESUS. CHRIST JESUS Himself "IS The ONLY MEDIATOR between GOD and man; HE IS The SUN that enLIGHTens; The PHYSICIAN that heals; The Wall of Fire that defends; The FRIEND that comforts; The PEARL that enriches; The ARK that supports; and The ROCK to sustain under the heaviest of pressures; HE IS seated at the Right Hand of the Throne of The MAJESTY On High (Hebrews 1:3, 8:1); HE IS BETTER than the angels (Hebrews 1:4-14); BETTER than Moses; BETTER than Aaron; BETTER than Joshua; BETTER than Melchizedek; BETTER that ALL the prophets; GREATER than Satan (Luke 4:1-12); and STRONGER than Death (1 Corinthians 15:55).

My prayer for you all who LOVE The ONE TRUE Living TRIune Sovereign GOD, who are the CALLED, who are the twice-born IN CHRIST -- that GOD our Heavenly FATHER 'would give you, according to the riches of HIS GLORY, to be strengthened with POWER through His Holy SPIRIT in the inner man, so that CHRIST JESUS may dwell IN your hearts through FAITH; and that you, being firmly rooted and grounded IN LOVE, may be able to comprehend with ALL the saints WHAT is the BREADTH and LENGTH and HEIGHT and DEPTH, and to KNOW the LOVE of CHRIST which SURPASSES KNOWLEDGE, that you may be FILLED UP to ALL the Fullness of GOD.
